Salmon with Asparagus and Lemon

Simplicity is king when it comes to a good piece of fish. This Salmon with Asparagus and Lemon isn’t about messing with perfection. It’s about letting the ingredients speak for themselves, with a touch of lemon to brighten things up. A one-pan wonder that’s ready in no time.

Ingredients

- 2 salmon fillets

- 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed

- 1 lemon, sliced

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

2. Place the salmon fillets and asparagus on a baking sheet.

3. Drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.

4. Top the salmon with lemon slices.

5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.

6. Serve hot.
